Welcome to Hinckley Preparatory Academy!
We are a newly opened public charter school for competitive sports and academics for EK-5 students. Our mission is to promote the academic, emotional, and physical development of our students through the promotion of teamwork, sportsmanship, and athletic competition. By developing these skills, student-athletes will become confident and capable contributing members of our community.
• Academics – we teach an Ohio Standards-based curriculum and individualize instruction to each student by assessing students on a bi-weekly schedule to know if a student is working ahead, falling behind, or right on track. We teach our core subjects of English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies & Science every morning.
• Athletics – students participate in our afternoon athletics program which includes a wide variety of team sports as well as physical conditioning and mindfulness practice.
• Life Skills – our well-rounded education incorporates real-world & social-emotional learning so that students are confident and primed for success.
“I am a Hinckley Knight team player! I will make this day count by aiming for excellence, focusing on my goals, learning from my mistakes, and giving my best.”
