Dr. Chad Carr, Executive Vice President

Dr. Chad Carr is the creator of the Blitz™ Academic Model and Hinckley Preparatory’s Executive Vice President. Dr. Carr joined ACCEL Schools in 2015 with over 27 years of experience as a K-12 educator, coach, principal, and superintendent of schools in Ohio and Kentucky. Prior to joining ACCEL Schools, Dr. Carr served as Executive Vice President of Mosaica Education, where he turned-around failing charter schools in Ohio.

Mr. Flood, Principal

Mr. Flood is excited and honored to serve as the new Principal of Hinckley Preparatory Academy. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in education, having served students and families throughout Northeast Ohio as a mathematics teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal.

Throughout his career, Mr. Flood has believed that great schools are built on strong relationships, open communication, high expectations, and a genuine commitment to putting students first. As principal, he looks forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff of Hinckley Prep and working together to create a school where every child feels safe, supported, challenged, and excited to learn.

Outside of school, Mr. Flood is a proud father of three and is engaged to his fiancée, Meghan. He is an avid golfer, enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves being involved in athletics. After three decades in education, he remains just as passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students as when he first entered the classroom.

Mr. Flood is incredibly excited to become part of the Hinckley Prep family and looks forward to a great year ahead!
